1990 Heartfield (by Fender Japan) RR-7 "Rock and Roll" Electric Guitar (Blue)
A shortlived collaboration between Fender USA and Fender Japan, Heartfield Guitars were manufactured in Japan for only 4 years in the late 80's and early 90's. The RR (Rock and Roll) series were a more retro design than many of the other releases and have a quirky aesthetic with great playability.
This is a Japanese market RR-7 model with an angled humbucker in the bridge position and a single coil in the neck position with a master tone/volume knob and 3-way selector. Alder body with a faded "Lake Placid Blue" finish, 22 fret rosewood fingerboard on a slim maple neck. Stratocaster style tremolo system and Gotoh locking tuners (one has been replaced). Weighs 3.5kg's.
Restrung prior to listing, good overall condition with some light Sharpie on the body (could likely be removed). Finish is faded to a nice aquamarine. Frets have plenty of life and play well, truss was adjusted and neck is straight.
