1990 Greco Japan LAG-100 (Gibson L-5) Hollowbody (Brown Sunburst) w/Hardcase
A pretty big unicorn in the world of Greco Guitars!
Made in Japan in 1990, the LAG-100 was the Greco take on the Gibson L-5 hollowbody. Spruce top and back with a maple neck and ebony fingerboard (12" radius, 20 frets, 628mm scale length, weighs 3.4kg's). Loaded with a pair of Greco Dry humbuckers that sound absolutely fantastic.
A lot of attention to detail in the design and build, features an open book headstock, block inlays, bound body/f-holes/neck and a perfectly designed trapeze tailpiece. This is a high quality Japanese guitar in every way.
Good overall condition with some signs of use as pictured. Plays nice with a smooth straight neck, frets were polished and the fretboard was oiled prior to listing. Sounds great both acoustically and plugged-in. Includes a fitted hard case and the original paperwork from Ishibashi (where it was seemingly first sold new).
