1989 Greco Japan PXB-800 26-Fret Phoenix Bass (Trans Aqua)
One of the first Pheonix bass models released by Greco, this is a PXB-800 that was made in Japan 1989 and was one of the higher end catalog models (unlike the cheaper PXB models of the late 90's). Designed with a small, compact ash body and a 34" maple neck and 26 fret ebony fingerboard, these are made for players who want to utilise the whole neck. Weighs 3.8kg's.
Loaded with Greco Pro Duce PJ pickups and an active Middle Shaper circuit (Volume, Balancer, Tone, Mids toggle). It's capable of a huge range of both modern and vintage voices.
Great vintage condition with a few dings here and there. Frets were polished and the fretboard was oiled prior to listing, neck is straight and smooth and plays well.
