1989 Greco Japan EGW-80 Les Paul Custom Lite Slim (Alpine White)
The EGW series were made to emulate the Gibson Les Paul Lite models that were released in a similar era with a slimmer body profile and contoured top and back. This is a rarer model with the true Gibson headstock (open book, split inlay) rather than the modified Greco design on most guitars from this era.
While the EGW-70 models featured rounded soft edges, the EGW-80 have binding around the body for a more authentic look and feel. Measures at a 36mm body depth around the edges. Weighing in at 3.9kg's, it's a much lighter option that most of the regular Custom models available whilst still retaining a solid sound.
Built with a maple top, mahogany back and neck, rosewood fingerboard and an aged Alpine White poly finish with gold hardware. Stock Screamin' humbuckers sound great. All original aside from a new jack.
Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing. Good overall condition with a straight neck and good fretlife, only basic signs of wear and tear as pictured like the sticker tan on the top. No cracks, repairs or structural damage.
