1989 Fender Japan STM60R Medium Scale Stratocaster w/Gibson Dirty Fingers
Made by the Fujigen factory in Japan back in 1989, this was the highest end model in the "medium scale" section of the catalog.
These models were designed to compete with the rise of Charvel and Jackson and featured some modern design features including a contoured neck heel and floating Pro Rox tremolo system. 22 medium frets and a 628mm scale length give it a nice tension while still being capable of the classic Stratocaster pop.
This particular guitar has plenty of aftermarket modifications performed over the years including bone saddles, a Gibson Dirty Fingers humbucker in the bridge position with a coil split, new knobs and custom wiring with a 5-way switch. All performed by the previous owner so there's no guarantees there, should be able to convert it back to standard specs pretty easily.
Well used over the years but seems to have had frequent services as the neck and frets are in good condition and play great. Weighs 3.4kg's.
