1989 Charvel Japan ST Deluxe HSS Superstrat Stratocaster (Black)
Made in Japan in the late 80's, the Charvel ST Deluxe was designed to create "A vintage look and feel combined with state-of-the-art electronics" The ST Deluxe features "four pickups, with two side by side at the bridge for a traditional humbucker sound" controlled by a five-way selector, along with a three-way toggle to add the front-bridge pickup at will in and out of phase.
The headstock may look odd, but the design "provides a vintage look but with staggered tuning keys that line up precisely with the strings for a reduced tension on the self lubricating phenolic composite nut".
Good overall condition with some cosmetic wear as pictured, plays nicely with a smooth low action and thin neck. Weighs 3.6kg's and has a 648mm scale and a 42mm nut width.
