1989 Burny RLC-60 Les Paul Custom (Made in Japan)
Description:
Burny guitars are held in high regard in the Japanese-made guitar community and it's very easy to see why. Built in the late 1980's by the Dyna-Gakki factory, this Les Paul Custom is an example of Japanese craftsmanship recreating classic US design. Mahogany neck and body with a rosewood fingerboard. Ebony finish with cream binding and gold hardware (pickup covers removed but included), nicely weighted at 4.5kg's. Moderate neck thickness somewhere between 50's and slim 60's. Unsure of the pickups in this one, however they appear to be the original VH-3's.
Good playing condition with plenty of cosmetic wear and tear as pictured, received a full service and rebuild prior to listing. Binding was painted over by the original owner so we removed that, there's some crackling to the finish on the body, neck and binding but no major cracks or dings. Neck jack plate and socket installed along with a new volume pot. Missing the truss rod cover.
