1988 Orville by Gibson ES-CH ES-335 Japan Dot Hollowbody (Cherry Red) w/Hardcase
One of the best examples of an Orville by Gibson on the market today! Orville by Gibson models were an attempt at competing with the meteoric rise of Fender Japan and represented Gibson quality manufactured by Japanese luthiers, sold at more affordable retail prices.
Made in the Terada factory in the first year of production, this is an ES-CH model with a nitro cherry red finish. This particular model was one of the higher end G serial models with a full factory loadout of Gibson USA hardware and pickups. Maple body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard for a total weight of 3.55kg's. This guitar will exceed your expectations in every way.
Has minor signs of cosmetic wear and tear but overall it's been well looked after and spent most of it's life in the hands of a collector. Includes a fitted hardcase.
Received a full setup and service recently by Alan Rigg prior to listing.
