1988 Greco Japan EJR59-60 Les Paul Junior Double Cutaway (Cherry Red)
One of the Greco models that people constantly ask me for because they're both effortlessly cool and impossible to locate..
Made by the Fujigen factory in 1988, the Greco EJR59 was their take on the '59 model Gibson Les Paul Junior DC. Mahogany body with a mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.1kg's. 42.5mm nut width and a 628mm scale length.
This one has seen some good use over the years and has a few modifications. It's previously had a locking nut on the headstock that has left some cosmetic holes along with the strap pins being moved a few times. The bridge is a brand new Gotoh combination TOM and tailpiece to replace the wraparound that was on there as stock. Has the original pickup, electronics and tuners.
Restrung prior to listing, it's playing well with polished frets and an oiled fretboard. Has plenty of fretlife and the truss is working well, neck is straight. Other than the modifications there's some bumps and bruises but no structural damage to report.
