1988 Greco EGC Les Paul Custom (Ebony)

A players grade Les Paul Custom from everyone's favourite Japanese guitar brand! Made in the late 80's by Cor-Tek in Korea, this EGC model was one of the affordable models from the Greco range that still did a great job of replicating the Gibson Les Paul Custom aesthetic, feel and sound.

Mahogany body with a slim maple neck and a synthetic ebony fingerboard, weighs 4.3kg's. Open book headstock, block inlays and the split trap inlay capture the Gibson image nicely. Previous owner replaced the tuners with Greco stamped models, otherwise it appears all original.

Restrung and adjusted prior to listing, the frets have pitting but were polished and play well with some life left. Truss is adjustable and the neck is straight. Has some signs of cosmetic wear as pictured (looks to mainly be sticker residue on the top and back) along with some fading and patina. Electronics were flushed and sound great.
