1988 Fernandes Japan GW-1000 Neckthrough HH Superstrat (Black)
A very limited run from Fernandes Japan in 1988, the GW-1000 was originally designed alongside the DW-1000 wireless system. Although the wireless system is long gone from this one, you're left with a wicked shredder with lighting bolt inlays for faster playing. Alder body with a neckthrough maple construction, the catalog states this has an ebony fingerboard (although it looks like rosewood), it weighs 3.7kg's. 14" radius with 24 frets and a 648mm scale length. Loaded with the original VH-2 pickups, the wireless system was pulled out (as it's useless without the incredibly rare receiver system) and replaced with a basic two volume, one tone, three-way selector system (the two other switches do nothing).
Restrung and given a basic setup prior to listing, plays well with shiny frets and a smooth neck. Missing the locking nut.
