1988 Fender Japan STR-730 "Pro Feel" HSH Stratocaster (Charcoal Black Burst)
Part of the Fender Japan Pro Feel series of "contemporary" models released in the late 1980's, the STR-730 was made with a poplar body that features a birds-eye maple laminate on the top and back, satin maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length, 12" radius), weighs just under 4kg's.
This one appears to be all original featuring two Fender Dragster-BH humbuckers and a Hotrod-1S single coil controlled by master volume/tone knobs, a 5-way blade switch and a coil split mini toggle. Fender ExTrem branded dual locking tremolo system and Japanese branded tuners keep it tuned to perfection.
Very good condition for it's age with the only exception being the crack to the laminate on the top (very common if you're familiar with Fender laminate models) that was professionally epoxied and filled prior to listing so it's rock solid and purely cosmetic, smooth to the touch. The guitar was given a full setup and service with a fretboard oil, fret polish and truss adjustment, the neck is straight and the frets have plenty of life with some mild pitting from years of basic use.
