1988 Fender Japan ST72-75 Yngwie Malmsteen Scalloped Stratocaster Olympic White
Part of the highly desirable E Series of guitars made by the Fujigen factory in the 1980's, this is a rare "unofficial" Yngwie model in Olympic White.
Basswood body with a maple neck and a scalloped maple fretboard. 7.25" radius with a nice slim C profile neck.
Loaded with the original Fender Japan pickup in the middle position, it's had the neck and bridge pickups replaced by the previous owner to DImarzio HS3's. Gotoh tuners, it features the iconic 70's aesthetic of an oversized headstock, bullet truss rod and three-bolt neck plate. Weighs 3.5kg's.
Received a restring prior to listing along with a fret polish and truss adjustment. Frets have life left and play well with minimal pitting. Good overall cosmetic condition with a few basic signs of use as pictured.
