1987 Greco Japan TRH-120 Vintage HH Telecaster (Cherry Sunburst)
A rare chance to get one of the highest end Greco models from the 1980's. Made for only a few years, the TRH-120 was the second most expensive guitar in the 1989 Greco catalog (behind their White Falcon model) and was a unique modern take on the Fender Telecaster design. Very few of these have hit the market over the years and this is one of the only ones that's been available to the Western market!
No expense was spared with the construction, nitro finish on a slim body made up of a carved quilt maple top with an alder back, bolt on one-piece bird's eye maple neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard. Jim Dunlop 6190 fretwire, 7.25" radius and a 648mm scale length. Weighs just 3kg's.
Features a three-way Les Paul style toggle and master volume/tone controls, it's loaded with a pair of Dry-H model passive humbuckers that have crystal clear output with great clean or distorted tones.
Good overall condition for an 80's guitar, it's been played but not abused. Some small blemishes to the finish as pictured but no cracks or structural issues. Frets have plenty of life and were polished prior to listing along with a fretboard oil, neck is straight and smooth.
