1987 Aria Pro II (by Tokai) SB-RSZ Neck Through Electric Bass (Made in Japan)
Made in the late 1980's after the closure of the Matsumoku factory, this was one of the few surviving models from the famous Aria Pro II SB series when production moved to different factories. Made by Tokai, it's retained the neck-through construction that made these models so desirable with a 5-ply maple/walnut neck and what look to be ash wings for the body (weighs 4.3kg's). 40mm nut width and 34" scale length.
Transparent black finish on the body and headstock looks great with some really nice grain. It's loaded with a pair of humbucking pickups (both with coil split toggles) that have that distinct booming tone.
Good overall condition, received a basic setup and service prior to listing. Has a few dings and bumps around the edges but overall it's nice. Straight neck and plenty of fret life.
