1986 Fender Japan TLC-54 Esquire Telecaster Electric Guitar (Blonde)
Produced in very small numbers in the mid 1980's, this Fender TLC-54 Esquire is that "something special" you've been waiting for. Buttescotch blonde finish on an ash body, this was one of the higher end models built by Fender Japan and includes stock "factory upgrade" hardware (such as brass saddles and Kluson-style tuners). Three-way switch with standard Esquire wiring, this thing has all the vintage correct twang you could ever want while still being able to round off to a more subtle tone. Weighs 3.4kg's.
Good overall condition with some natural wear and tear as pictured (one notable ding as pictured, otherwise it's very clean). Slim straight neck with good fretlife remaining, neck is smooth and plays well. All original with the exception of an upgraded USA Bakelite pickguard and new strap buttons.
