1986 Fender Japan STR-75 Pro Feel E Series Stratocaster MIJ
The Fender Japan STR-75 Pro-Feel Stratocaster was by Fujigen in Japan through the mid to late 1980's. The Pro-Feel series was Fender's take on a hotrodded Strat, to keep up with the rise of Charvel and Jackson. This appears to be an E series model from 1984-1987, a highly desirable serial number with a great reputation.
These feature a birds eye maple laminate on a poplar body, 12" radius rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium/jumbo frets, Fender branded Floyd Rose tremolo system, high output pickups (many with a humbucker) and slightly wider necks than the classic models make these great for heavier and faster styles of play.
This was one of Fender Japan's top-of-the-line models and retailed for $750 USD (a big number in the 80's!).
Overall good condition with plenty of signs of use. Middle pickup was removed and boarded over internally, plenty of minor surface dings as pictured. Plays great as it sits and has some big sounds on board.
