1985 Fender Japan E Series Stratocaster w/Original Paperwork (Black/Maple)
1985 Fender ST-314
Made by the Fujigen factory in the mid 1980's and featuring a sought after "E" serial number, this Fender ST-314 features all the quality parts and superior craftsmanship you would expect for a Japanese build. The Fender ST-314 models were the first 22 fret Stratocaster's offered by Fender Japan.
Rescued from a closet in Japan, this thing had been untouched for around 30 years and was covered in dust. Still comes with the original warranty card, swing tag and other paperwork.
We had our tech give it a full teardown/rebuild to ensure it was fully cleaned and it's now looking near new again. Glossy black body with a satin maple neck, there's some honest age to the fretboard that shows it's vintage. Frets themselves have plenty of life and the neck is nice and straight.
This is a great opportunity to own a closet classic that's been brought back to it's best.
