Description:
The Boss DF-2 went under two names. The Super Distortion and Feedbacker was produced for around a year, until Dimarzio pointed out that the term "Super Distortion" was registered to them. Boss continued production as the "Super Feedbacker and Distortion" shortly after. The pedal produces a heavy distortion much like the DS-1.
Without the manual, many would miss the DF-2's hidden feature. When the pedal is active, holding down the footswitch will produce an endless feedback/overtone. This provides a great alternative for those looking for some feedback at lower volumes.
Produced from September 1984 until April 1994.
