1984 Ibanez Roadstar II Series RG1300 (Made in Japan) Vintage Electric Guitar
The RS1300 is part of the Ibanez Roadstar II series introduced by Ibanez in 1984 and were the cream of the crop back then and are a collectors dream now!
Featuring a stunning arched birdseye bound maple top with a basswood body bolted to a maple neck (648mm scale length) with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard (dot inlays). Loaded with Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups (with Duo Sound coil-split functionality), a Pro Rock'r double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, knurled Tek Grip control knobs and Smooth Tuner II tuning machines. Weighs 3.7kg's.
From the collection of Australian guitar legend Peter Northcote, it's been well kept over the years and shows only minimal signs of wear. Output jack was replaced along with the pots, push-pull coil splits still working well. Playing great with a smooth low action and a straight neck, it'll make players just as happy as collectors!
