1984 Greco Japan Tusk GTV-55 Rhoads Flying V Vintage Electric Guitar
Do you remember the 80's? This thing does. Made in 1984, this was one of the first crazy 80's guitars manufactured by Greco. Usually known for their high end builds of classic Fender and Gibson designs, this was their first attempt at making something hyper-modern to satisfy a different market.
Super light weight and compact, the horns have a little more substance than a comparable Randy Rhoads model. Candy apple red finish on the body, neck and fingerboard with gold hardware. The biggest feature to note on these was the new tremolo system, which locked at the headstock and fed through to the back. Tuning is done at the bridge. It's a surprisingly stable design that seems to stay in tune well.
Used cosmetic condition as pictured with plenty of wear and tear. But these are a players guitar, not a collectors item! Has new strings on there and is fully functional as is.
