1984 Greco Japan GTX-55 Tusk Explorer/Star (Pearl White)
This is one of my favourite series of guitars! The Greco TUSK models of the mid 1980's were Japanese made models that experimented with different tuning and tremolo systems in an attempt to create the most secure, stable and aesthetic system of the time.
The 1984 GTX-55 used the Greco TUSK system, a floating tremolo system with tuning done from the bridge and just a simple locking system loaded onto the headstock. This leaves a clean and sleek headstock design that and functions as a very innovative locking tremolo.
648mm scale length with 22 frets, it's loaded with two high output humbuckers and a single volume knob. Compact pointy body actually sits very comfortably!
Good overall condition with some dings as pictured. Basic setup and ready to play as is.
