1984 ESP Japan LH Left Handed Precision PJ Bass (Transparent Red)
Made in Japan in 1984 (dated using the pots), this looks to be a custom order model from ESP's Japanese factory. Gorgeous one-piece ash body with a transparent red finish, maple neck with a 21 fret stained rosewood fingerboard (40mm nut width), weighs 4.2kg's. Loaded with passive Bartolini PJ pickups controlled by a pair of volume knobs and a master tone control, you really have to hear this thing to believe it.
Very clean condition for it's age, some light signs of wear and tear as pictured but no breaks or repairs. Neck is straight and the truss adjusts freely, frets are shiny and have plenty of life. Restrung and given a setup/service prior to listing. Looks to be all original except for the missing second string tree (that likely wasn't original anyway).
