1983 Squier Japan CST-50 JV Series '72 Reissue Stratocaster (Black)
Some of the most sought after Japanese guitars ever made, the JV series are some of the highest quality vintage Fender guitars to ever come out of Japan and have been steadily rising in value for the last 10 years. This looks to be a CST-50 model that was made in 1983 and was a replica of the CBS style Stratocaster released in the 70's. This one features a black finish on an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.5kg's. Looks to be all original including the original pots and alnico SQ-5 pickups.
Given a full service and setup prior to listing including a truss adjustment and fret polish (light pitting but play smooth). Shows plenty of signs of wear/tear with some corrosion and patina to the hardware although it's fully functional and plays well as it sits.
