1983 Fender Japan SPB-50 JV Defretted Precision Bass (Candy Apple Red)
Some of the most sought after Japanese guitars ever made, the JV series are some of the highest quality vintage Fender guitars to ever come out of Japan and have been steadily rising in value for the last 10 years.
This is a heavily used and modified JV SPB-50 model with a neck date of 1983. Previous owner had it defretted and the board is smooth and has been puttied. Other modifications include a new bridge, thumbrest, tuners, Jackson pickups and a modern pickguard. It's a bit of a mongrel but the foundation is there.
Cosmetic condition as pictured (and listed above), has some choking past the 15th fret on the middle strings but plays well otherwise.
