1983 Aria Pro II Japan ZZ Standard Explorer (Brown)
The Aria Pro II XX and ZZ series of guitars from the 1980's were Matsumoku made shredders with plenty of 80's mojo. This is a heavily used ZZ Standard model that the previous owner stripped of all paint and lightly stained in a darker finish. 648mm scale length with 24 frets, it weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with a Matsumoku 45 pickup in the neck and an unmarked humbucker in the bridge, it's set up with just a three-way toggle and master volume (that's a little stiff to turn).
Used condition as pictured. We just cleaned and restrung it prior to listing along with a quick truss adjustment and fret polish. Pickups work well but could use some new pots, frets play well with only light wear. One bridge post is slightly bent but still holds tune and adjusts the action as it should.
