1982 Greco EG59-70 Les Paul Standard (Sunburst)
Appearing in the Greco Special Note catalog from the early 1980's, the EG59-70 was a mid-range model in the Fujigen built range that did a great job of replicating the 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard aesthetic, feel and sound with classic Japanese craftsmanship.
Mahogany body with a plain maple top, slim 60's style mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4.4kg's. Original Maxon Screamin' 82 humbuckers and vintage style tuners give this the late '50's look, feel and sound. Appears to be all original except for the missing pickguard.
Good vintage condition as pictured with some light signs of wear as pictured. Restrung and professionally serviced recently, it plays smoothly with shiny frets and a straight neck. Has a small amount of stress to the finish around the headstock however there's no structural damage or repairs.
