1982 Burny RLC-60 Les Paul Custom (Made in Japan) w/EMG Pickups
Burny guitars are held in high regard in the Japanese-made guitar community and it's very easy to see why. Built in the early 1980's, this Les Paul Custom is an example of Japanese craftsmanship recreating classic US design. Ebony finish with cream binding and chrome hardware (including upgraded Grover tuners), it's a hefty mahogany build that weighs 4.8kg's. Moderate neck thickness somewhere between 50's and slim 60's.
Previous owner dropped an active set of EMG 81/85 active humbuckers in there and replaced the knobs and pickup rings with Sykes style chrome hardware. Truss cover was also replaced with Gibson one. Sounds absolutely huge and is perfect for modern voiced music (previous owner played thrash metal..). Keep it as it is of source a few vintage-themed parts and take it back to a classic 80's guitar.
Good overall condition with minor cosmetic wear and tear as pictured. No signs of cracking on the headstock or neck pocket, neck is straight and the frets have plenty of life left.
