1982 Aria Pro II (Matsumoku) SB-R60 Fretless Neck-Through Bass (Made in Japan)
From the famous Aria Pro II SB series that were favoured by people like Marcus Miller, Cliff Burton and John Taylor, this is a SB-R60 model with the frets removed. A Canadian Ash body with a Maple/Walnut transmit neck and Rosewood fingerboard, these have a beautiful neck heel and are a breeze to play.
The SB-R60 model had a slightly wider string pitch to the SB-1000's, giving them a 40mm nut width and 34"scale length, weighs a manageable 3.8kg's and sounds great.
Currently set up with flatwound strings and a low action, the neck is straight and the truss is adjustable. Cosmetic condition as pictured, has been well looked after over the years.
