1981 Tokai Precision Bass

Description:

One of the famous "Fender" models from Tokai before they had to change their logo to look a little less copyright infringementish! This Hard Puncher is a Precision Bass style instrument from a series of guitars that constantly appreciates in value.

Seems to be an ash body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard. Weighted nicely at 4.2kg, this one measures just over 42mm at the nut (unusually wide for these old Japanese models!).

This one is in used cosmetic condition but has been recently refretted and professionally serviced, plays really well. Has some slight warping from the 12th to 15th frets on the bass side but nothing that impacts on playing and the effected frets still play perfectly.
