1981 Greco Japan SE-380 Super Power Stratocaster (Vintage White)
Made in Japan in late 1981, this Greco SE-380 is a fantastic example of why Fender employed Fujigen to manufacture their Japanese models. Fender-style models from Greco at this time are among the most desirable due to their similarities in both quality and specifications to the Fender models that began production only months later.
Basswood body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, these were made to replicate the 1962 model Stratocaster with a compact headstock and butterfly string tree. Weighs 3.6kg's.
Single ply pickguard and 3-way toggle with really nice Maxon single coils, it's all original with no modifications inside or out.
Great overall cosmetic condition with very few signs of use. Hardware is bright and shiny and the finish is clean. Truss was adjusted (although the truss slot is a little damaged and tough to turn), the neck plays well. Frets were polished and are smooth with light pitting. Electronics were flushed and are all good with no notable noise.
