1981 Aria Pro II Japan (Matsumoku) TS-500 Vintage Guitar (Brown)

Description:

Made by the Matsumoku factory in Japan in 1981, the TS-500 Thor Sound was a mid range offering from their catalog. Designed to meet the "stringent requirements of today's guitarists", the TS-500 have a three-ply maple neck with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard, set to a sycamore body with a maple centre block and walnut stripes. Loaded with passive Protomatic III humbuckers, switchable active boost circuit, 6-way tone selector and a range of other tone shaping controls (coil cuts, phase etc). Weighs 3.7kg's.

Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing. Frets have some light pitting but are polished and smooth. Has a few cosmetic dings here and there and is missing the battery control plate (foam insert keeps the battery in place though). Plays nicely!
