1980's Yamaha RGZ-1M HSH Superstrat (Black/Green Burst)
Made in Japan in the late 80's (when Yamaha models had a great reputation), this RGZ model was aimed at competing with the Ibanez RG and JEM models that were on the rise.
Maple neck with a bound 24 fret fingerboard (13.75" radius), maple/mahogany body with a hugely contoured shape, weighs 3.8kg's. LIVE-GS 1 (Alnico II) humbuckers with a LIVE-GH 1 (Alnico V) single coil, 1 volume, 2 tone, 5-way switch and mini toggle for coil tap.
Received a basic service prior to listing including a clean of the electronics, fret polish and restring. Missing a few clamps from the bridge (still functions as is), overall it's in good used condition with a few bumps and dings. Neck is straight and the truss works well, frets are shiny with light wear.
