1980's Yamaha Japan BB-V Broadbass w/EMG's
Made in Japan in the mid 1980's, the Yamaha BB-V was a no frills option from the BB series. A pair of jazz bass pickups with independent volume knobs and a master tone control. Alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 860mm scale length with 21 frets. Weighs 3.7kg's.
This one is an absolute road warrior with loads of natural relic. We've given it a full teardown and rebuild before a nice setup and service. Pickups have been replaced with a set of active EMG's and has some Schaller strap-locks installed. Frets are pitted but were polished and play well. Truss is functional and was adjusted prior to listing.
