1980's Thunder Les Paul Standard Vintage Electric Guitar (Made in Japan)
Thunder branded guitars were produced by the Suzuki factory in Japan in the 1970's. typically a violin factory, the company delved into guitars with copies of Mustangs, Stratocasters, Les Paul's and many other classic shapes. They focused on quality and made their guitars to be as similar to "real" specs as possible.
This one here is their take on the Les Paul Standard and is genuinely surprising in both quality and cosmetics. Features what looks to be a gorgeous maple top, mahogany back/neck and a rosewood fingerboard, it's weight relieved to play at a comfortable 3.6kg's. Also features some really cool looking vintage square-bodied Gotoh tuners.
Great cosmetic condition with no real notable dings or dents. Plays nicely with plenty of fret life and a nice straight neck.
