1980's Takamine GZ-300 Solid Body Double Cutaway Electric Guitar (Mahogany/Ash)
One of the few electric guitar models made by Takamine, the GZ-300 was made in Japan briefly in the 1980's and really should have been manufactured in much larger numbers (because just look at it, it's perfect). Bound ash top with a mahogany back and set mahogany neck with a slim C profile, rosewood 22 fret fingerboard with a 628mm scale length, it weighs 3.6kg's. Dimarzio style humbuckers with master volume and two independent tone controls, Japanese hardware and pots function great and have aged perfectly.
Very nice vintage condition with a few bumps and dings but no breaks or repairs. Frets have some light wear and pitting but were polished and play smoothly, truss adjusts as it should and the neck is straight. Pots were flushed and cleaned prior to listing along with a restring and basic setup. Seems all original with the exception of one replacement knob.
