1980's Fresher FRS Contemporary Precision Bass (Made in Japan)
Fresher guitars were built in the 1980's by the Matsumoto Musical Instrument Manufacturers’ Association, a consortium of suppliers in the Matsumoto region in Japan. The FRS series are a similar design to the Fender Contemporary Series guitars of the same era, with modern colours and pickup configurations.
This is the Precision style bass with a really sleek flat top surrounded with aged cream binding. Red body/neck/headstock and gold hardware, this is honestly such a cool looking bass. Single volume/tone knob to control the beastly looking pickup. Plays and sounds great and is in great overall condition as pictured. Plenty of life in the frets.
