The Casio EG-5 features a sturdy plastic body with a maple neck and hardtail bridge. The neck was made in the same factory as the 80's Fernandes models, so it's great quality. The main feature here is the onboard speaker, amplifier and cassette player to fulfil all your 1980's desires! This allows you to play along to your favourite old cassettes and pretend you're an actual musician (because you know you aren't), plus you're able to record yourself to listen back later.

Honestly, this thing is great. The onboard amplifier and speaker are surprisingly useful and the contour of the body is comfortable to play.

Good overall condition, tested and working as expected. Works well on an external 9v power supply or this one has been modified with a 9v battery snap internally for cord-free usage.
