1980's Bill Lawrence Japan Modiefied Jazz/Precision Bass (White)
Bill Lawrence branded guitars were made in Japan by Moridaira Guitars (responsible for Morris guitars, among others) and were built around the impressive range of Bill Lawrence pickups (although this one has had both replaced..).
Looks to be either a basswood or alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (20 frets, 860mm scale length, 39mm nut width), it weighs 4.1kg's. The bridge pickup has been replaced by a pair of J style pickups and the neck has a Bartolini passive P pickup.
Shows plenty of signs of use in a live/professional setting, dings and buckle rash are all cosmetic with no breaks or repairs. Has a brand new wiring harness with Alpha pots acting as volume for each pickup and a master volume along with a killswitch. Given a full setup and service prior to listing, neck is straight and the truss works well.
