1980 Greco Japan FV-600 ‘64 Reissue Flying V (Black)
Made by the Fujigen factory in 1980, this Greco FV-600 is a featherweight guitar with a nimble feel and beefy tone. 2.9kg’s on the scale, it’s got a medium profile neck with a volute and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard. Loaded with a Dimarzio Super 2 in the bridge and a generic neck pickup, it has brand new strap pins installed.
Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing, plays and sounds great with shiny frets (minimal pitting) and a straight neck. Missing the original truss cover that would have worn the Greco logo, identifiable using the serial number and Japanese hardware as a 1980 FV-600. No signs of breaks or repairs anywhere, good overall vintage cosmetic condition.
