1980 Fernandes FST-70T-N Stratocaster MIJ Japan (Natural)
Regular price $739.00 AUD
1980 Fernandes FST-70N
Made in Japan in 1980, it's a 22 fret Stratocaster from Fernandes. Super classy natural finish with a matching maple neck and black electronics/pickguard, features Kluson style tuners on a '57 style headstock. These "Stone Logo" Fernandes models represent great value for money, they were made in the Tokai and Kawai factories over the years and are real workhorses!
With the poor quality coming out of the Fender factory in the 1970's, buying a Japanese guitar from this period can be a much better choice. The Japanese factories were producing high quality instruments throughout the 1970's, whereas the cost-cutting measures that CBS had implemented on Fender had a huge impact on the quality and consistency of their instruments. If you're after a vintage Fender-style guitar from the 1970's then you'll save money and gain quality in buying a Japanese guitar like this!
