1979 Greco Japan SE-500 Super Sounds Stratocaster (White)
The SE-500 Super Sounds was one of the more popular models from Greco's 1979 Stratocaster range. Aged white finish on a three-piece Sen body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, loaded with Maxon EXCEL pickups that'll blow you away. Modelled after the 4-bolt '71 design, it's got a bullet truss and a large headstock and weighs 3.6kg's.
A real 70's Stratocaster that'll cost you a fraction of a Fender from the same era and deliver the same (or better?) quality.
Good overall condition for it's age with a smooth straight neck and polished frets along with a freshly oiled fretboard. Light cosmetic wear and tear and patina to the hardware. A very good example of a nicely kept old guitar. Truss is working well too. The middle tone pot is stiff but still works, other two pots are working well.
