1979 Aria Pro II (Matsumoku) RSB-900 Neck-Through Bass (Made in Japan)
From the famous Aria Pro II SB series that were favoured by people like Marcus Miller, Cliff Burton and John Taylor, this is a rare RSB-900 model that's lived a full and vibrant life. The RSB-900 was the highest end RSB model available in the 1979 catalog.
An Ash body with a Maple/Walnut transmit neck and Rosewood fingerboard, these have a beautiful neck heel and are a breeze to play. 45mm nut width and 34"scale length, weighs a huge 5kg's and sounds great with the original 6-way tone selector and master tone/volume knobs (with a dual-sound switch).
Received a full setup and service by John at Guitars by Romeo prior to listing including a professional neck repair as pictured, now smooth to the touch and rock solid. Guitar is otherwise in players condition as pictured with plenty of signs of use.
