1979 Aria Pro II Japan (Matsumoku) TSB-550 Tri-Sound Neckthrough Bass (Natural)
Neckthrough Aria basses are inarguably some of the best Japanese instruments ever made. Manufactured by the Matsumoku factory in September 1979, this TSB-550 is an outstanding example of what the TSB series was all about.
Stunning grain on the ash body with maple/walnut transmit neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs just under 4kg's. Loaded with the original MB dual coil pickup controlled by a master volume/tone and a dual-sound switch.
This one is in incredibly good cosmetic condition with barely any signs of wear. All original except for a new volume pot. Restrung prior to listing along with a fret polish and fretboard oil, truss is functional and the neck is straight.
