1978 Yamaha Japan SL700 Studio Lord Les Paul Custom (Cherry Sunburst)
Made in Japan by Yamaha in 1978, the SL700 was one of their high end Les Paul Custom models. Pancake mahogany body with a plain maple top and slim 60's mahogany neck, this one has a seldom seen ebony fretboard with block inlays, weighs a solid 4.6kg's.
These have a 13.75" radius and a 43mm nut width. Original Yamaha stamped tuners with a brand new bridge/tailpiece, original wiring and factory pickups.
Received a professional setup and service prior to listing, previously repaired headstock break is stable, lacquer was filled with cyanoacrylate, sanded smooth and polished to high shine. Full fret polish (a decent amount of life left, minimal pitting) plus a deep neck clean and oil. Contact cleaned all electronics, cleaned corrosion from jack socket.
