1978 Greco Sparkle Sounds Stratocaster

Description:

The SE-600 Sparkle Sounds was a higher end guitar from Greco's 1978 Stratocaster range. Two-piece Sen body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (only available on the white models), loaded with Maxon EXCEL pickups that'll blow you away. Plenty of 60's vibes on this one. Includes the original ash-tray bridge cover.

Weighs just over 4kg's.

With the poor quality coming out of the Fender factory in the 1970's, buying a Japanese guitar from this period can be a much better choice. The Japanese factories were producing high quality instruments throughout the 1970's, whereas the cost-cutting measures that CBS had implemented on Fender had a huge impact on the quality and consistency of their instruments. If you're after a vintage Fender-style guitar from the 1970's then you'll save money and gain quality in buying a Japanese guitar like this!
