1978 Greco Japan EG-700 Les Paul Standard (Tobacco Sunburst)
Made in Japan by the Fujigen factory in 1978, this is yet another one of those exceptional Greco Les Paul's that you've probably heard all about. Carved maple top and slim maple neck with a mahogany body and rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 4.4kg's. Open book headstock, trapezoid fretboard inlays and a tobacco sunburst finish give this the full Gibson aesthetic.
Loaded with the very popular factory original Maxon humbuckers, this one was modified by the previous owner to have two toggle switches to bypass the tone knobs for each pickup and seems otherwise all original.
Good overall cosmetic condition with signs of use and wear as pictured. Frets have some life with light pitting and were polished prior to listing. Fretboard was oiled and is looking healthy and clean. G tuner can be slightly slippery but functions well as is, easily upgraded if need be.
