1978 Greco Japan EG-500 Les Paul Electric Guitar (Sunburst)
The Greco EG-500's are some of the best value Japanese guitars around. Maple top and neck, rosewood fingerboard and weight relieved mahogany body (3.8kg's).
Japanese Gibson-style guitars (like this one) are a great alternative to a modern Gibson/Epiphone. With the hit and miss quality of modern Gibson guitars, a Japanese guitar from the 70's or 80's can prove to be a higher quality instrument that's been played in nicely. Many of these guitars will also cost you a fraction of what a new Gibson will and are also more affordable than a new Epiphone!
