1978 Fender USA Bronco Mustang Vintage Electric Guitar (Black)
1978 Fender Bronco
The Fender Bronco was one of the lesser known Fender student models that have since become an effortlessly cool vintage option.Made in the USA from mid 1967 until 1981, they used the body and neck from the Fender Mustang, but stock they had only one pickup and a different tremolo arm mechanism. Unlike the other Mustang variants which had 22.5" scales, the Bronco was uses a 24" scale length on a deep, round maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard.
This one has been heavily modified over the years.
- Near new frets, plenty of life!
- New nut.
- Mustang bridge installed (original bridge included).
- 2x pickups (one seems original, the other is a rail humbucker of some kind).
- 4-way pickup rotary switch.
- New pickguard and jack (original pickguard included, but is warped).
Players condition as pictured, plenty of signs of use over the years. 2 of the tuner pegs are bent but are still fully functional. Plays fine as it site but could obviously use a little love to get it either back to it's former glory or take it to where you want to go! Essentially you have the bones of a 1970's Mustang for a great price!
