1978 Aria Pro II Japan (Matsumoku) FV-550 Flying V (Cherry Red) w/Hard Case
Made by the Matsumoku factory in mid 1978, the Aria Pro II FV-550 is one of the rarer models in the catalog and were made in limited numbers. Like many true Flying V replicas from this era, these are highly sought after by both collectors and players due to the huge price difference between them and a Gibson of the same period while still retaining very similar quality.
Cherry red finish on a mahogany body/neck with a rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.2kg's. Plays comfortably and has a real Gibson feel with a full C profile neck with a 12" radius. Loaded with the original Aria T Top humbuckers that sound great, all the wiring and hardware is original.
Good cosmetic condition for a 40 year old guitar, shows some basic signs of wear but no structural issues or repairs. Restrung prior to listing along with a fretboard oil and a fret polish. Truss is functional and the neck is straight, plays well as it sits.
